Daisuke joins Atreus on his quest when Atreus comes across him in Nashira (the area where Daisuke lives...in the world of Atreus, Nashira would be a place where Japanese-like people live). Daisuke is a ninja, but he is often dubbed "the worst ninja that ever lived" because he is loud & not stealthy as a ninja should be. He could care less. He is "proud" to be loud and laughing and being a prankster. He likes to tease Anya a lot because he thinks she is the most serious woman he has ever seen. Anya calls Daisuke a pervert because Daisuke's girlfriend is a lot younger than he is. Daisuke's answer to Anya calling him that? "You're just jealous!" ;-p
